Anishinaabe Abinoojii Family Services is currently looking for a mature couple to provide a secure, stable and nurturing environment for youth ages 12-17.

You will be provided with the following:

  • Furnished accommodations
  • Grocery Allowance
  • Tax free per diem
  • personal hygiene items for the youth
  • cable, heat and utilities
  • Training
  • Allowances for the youth’s expenses
  • Regular Respite

Qualifications
  • are good role models
  • one person must be willing to be a stay at home parent, to provide continuity of care
  • have experience working with high risk youth
  • have a valid Ontario G license or willing to obtain one
  • have access to a reliable vehicle
  • have the ability to communicate with the youth in a positive manner
  • are sensitive to cultural and spiritual needs of the youth
  • are willing to work as part of a Team
